After graduating in graphic design and illustration in the early nineties, Bart J. Daems moved to digital design to work on interactive presentation graphics and award-winning multimedia titles. He designed his first professional website in ’96. After co-founding a music dot-com at the end of the millennium, his portfolio grew, firmly rooted in digital, with the design of numerous brands and websites for artists, bands, and online media companies. He was Head of Creative and Creative Director at different digital agencies in the region (and still is).

Throughout his professional journey in the digital realm, he consistently nurtured his passion for drawing and painting using traditional techniques and materials infused with the latest digital techniques. Relocating from Belgium to Portugal and subsequently to the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East, he wholeheartedly embraced the rich tapestry of influences that stemmed from living and working in these diverse foreign landscapes. Immersed in environments marked by a blend of cultures, languages, and populations, he allows these experiences to shape and enrich his artistic perspective.
